Dreams provide continuous symbolic imagery, whenever language fails to convey a particular inner experience, dream imagery can capture it both vividly and authentically. (Freud, 1900) Dreams reveal out unconscious desires, fulfilment fantasies and fears, our secrets unveiled in a world out of our control. Freud claimed that in order to understand symbolism in dreams, it is possible to use symbolic representations from fairytales.
Phantasia will be an online exhibition, a dreamland for those who wish to escape the mundane realities of the present universe and dare to enter the realm of dark fairytale and dream.
This project will capture the art of make-up and hair design, an exhibition that will appeal greatly to those with the love of make-up and storytelling.
